To make the number of partnerships on the American continents clearer, we combine Canada, the USA and Mexico North America, all states south of Mexico the South. Not all partnerships are suitable for student exchanges, for example SRH students can participate in the Summer School at Yale University.

Capilano University Vancouver

Capilano University is a public university in North Vancouver in the Canadian province of British Columbia. It was elevated to the status of British Columbia Center for Tourism Leadership and Innovation in 2004 in preparation for the Winter Olympics. With Capilano, we have a total of two exchange places per year, but our students can also participate in the Study Abroad programme when the free places are taken. The tuition fees are covered by the Auslandsbafög if this has been approved.

Technológico de Monterrey

The Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM), also known as Tecnológico de Monterrey, is a private multi-campus university located in Monterrey, Mexico. ITESM has now grown to 36 campuses across the country, and has quickly become one of the most prestigious universities in Latin America. ITESM was the first university in Latin America and the Spanish-speaking world to be the best business school in the region, according to the Economist, and among the leaders in patent applications among Mexican universities. The medical school, in partnership with Houston Methodist Hospital, offers the only MD-PhD programme available in Mexico.

The Autonomous University of Queretaro is a Mexican public university with its headquarters in the city of Santiago de Querétaro, Querétaro. It is spread throughout the state with several campuses. It is the largest and most important university, both in the city and in the state of Querétaro. UAQ is a socially relevant, financially viable higher education institution that focuses on the education of its students to ensure their continuity and integral development, with educational programmes recognised for their good quality. It also offers online teaching and is well-equipped in digital teaching.

Universidad de las Américas Puebla

The Universidad de las Américas (UDLA) is a private university in Mexico. The university is located in San Andrés Cholula, a suburb of the megacity of Puebla. The university is known for its programmes in International Business Management, Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences, Science and Engineering, and Business and Economics. It is considered one of the most prestigious universities in Latin America, having been ranked the best single-campus private university in Mexico by El Universal newspaper and one of the few seven universities in Latin America accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. UDLAP is also very successful in Mexican university sports; its teams are the Aztecs.

Since they began as a medical school in 1834, they have become one of the most prestigious research universities in the country. They are one of only 62 members of the Association of American Universities, an elite group of top-tier research institutions.

Yale University

Yale University in New Haven (Connecticut) is one of the most prestigious universities in the world and the third oldest university in the United States. Yale University has a library system that contained over 12.5 million books at several locations in 2009. A total of 49 Nobel Prize winners have studied, taught or worked at Yale. The university's alumni include five US presidents, 19 United States Supreme Court justices and various foreign heads of state. SRH has an agreement for the Yale Summer School.

Founded in 1947, the University of North Carolina Wilmington (UNCW) is a state university with currently about 18,000 students. UNCW impresses academically with its AACSB accreditation and outstanding rankings, such as one of the "Top 50 institutions in the country" (The Business Journals). With more than 260 clubs and teams, international students will find a traditional American campus here in the middle of the charming - and famous for many films - city of Wilmington on the east coast of the USA.
