Discover our attractive housing options, which are quiet, central and affordable. Whether directly on campus or in the immediate vicinity of SRH University - we offer our students ideal accommodation. 

Tips for finding a flat

Here are a few tips:

  • Allow sufficient time (approx. 1-2 months) to find permanent accommodation.
  • For the initial period, we recommend looking for a hotel/hostel and/or short-term accommodation for a few months.
  • Make sure to use the Facebook group to look for accommodation and flatmates.

Important information:

  • As our university is not a member of the "Studentenwerk", you cannot apply for a place in their halls of residence.
  • Our university supports you in your search for accommodation, but does not provide any specific offers.

Registering your place of residence

Within 14 days of moving in, you must register with the relevant registration office of your local government. It is advisable to book an appointment online while you are still looking for accommodation, as appointments are often fully booked weeks in advance.

The SRH Campus Apartments

Around the SRH Campus in Heidelberg-Wieblingen, we offer students accommodation at favourable rental conditions. A total of 596 one-bedroom flats are available.

The Wieblingen district is located in the west of Heidelberg on the left bank of the Neckar river, a quiet yet central location. You will find sports facilities, cafés and our dining hall, the Cube, right on our SRH Campus. Shopping facilities as well as bus and train stops are in the immediate vicinity. The Neckar river is just a few minutes' walk away and you can reach Heidelberg's romantic old town centre in just ten minutes by bike. And last but not least, it's only a few minutes' walk from your flat to the university or the library: welcome to campus!

Information: Nuremberg and Fürth are so close to each other that you can easily live in Nuremberg and study in Fürth. The two cities are only about 10 kilometers apart, which corresponds to a travel time of approximately 15 minutes. Thanks to the well-developed public transport system, you can travel quickly and conveniently from one city to the other. The U1 subway line, for example, directly connects Nuremberg and Fürth, offering a fast and regular connection between the two cities. This way, you can take advantage of the diverse housing options and cultural offerings in Nuremberg while benefiting from the study opportunities in Fürth.

Private student rooms and Apartments

  • BaseCamp Students The dormitory is located across the street, 100 meters from our campus. Please contact us if you would like to book a room here, as we have a co-operation with BaseCamp.
  • FOCUS homes FOCUS homes offer fully furnished student apartments with an all-inclusive rent and Wi-Fi. These apartments are located 1km away from the Campus.
  • Lumis Living Lumis Living offers modern, fully furnished studio apartments in Leipzig's city center – approximately 3km away from the Campus. Designed to foster community among students and young professionals, Lumis Leipzig provides a vibrant and versatile living space.
  • Felixx student Leipzig Felixx student Leipzig offer fully furnished apartments with a TV and Wi-Fi. They have 3 locations where they rent out apartments, they are all located 6km away from the Campus Leipzig.
  • The Hood The apartments are located about 3km away from the Campus. The Hood offers fully furnished apartments with a laundry room, which you can use for a fee.
  • STAY TOO STAY TOO is located 3.5km away from the Campus, but it can easily be reached by public transport. They offer a furnished room with a communal laundry room and a chill-out area.
  • Studentenapartments Leipzig They offer apartments in two different locations – 1.5 and 2 kilometers away from the Campus. All their apartments are fully furnished.
  • Mondial Campus Mondial Campus offers three different sizes of fully furnished apartments in different location around Leipzig, in some buildings the bed comes without a mattress.
  • Uniplaces Uniplaces is a search engine for private/shard rooms or Apartments.
