About me

Prof. Dr. Karl-Heinz Stier has been Professor of Therapy Sciences at the SRH University of Health since December 2014.

Prof. Dr. Stier completed his training as a speech therapist from 1985 to 1988. Until 1991, he worked as a speech therapist at the Phoniatric Outpatient Clinic, University of Ulm. Since 1991 he has been running his own speech therapy practice in Blaubeuren.

In 2002 he began training as a teaching therapist for the accent method with Dr. Kirsten Thyme-Frøkjær and Prof. Børge Frøkjær-Jensen.

Prof. Dr. Karl-Heinz Stier gives courses and lectures in the accent method and objective voice analysis. He also conducts voice training seminars for professional speakers. 

In 2009, he became a dyslexia therapist at the LRA Alb-Donau-Kreis after completing his Bachelor of Arts degree in speech therapy (B. A.) in 2007. This was followed by his Master of Science degree in Therapy Science (M. Sc.) at the Europa Fachhochschule Fresenius in 2010.

Since 2011 he has been a certified teaching logopedist (dbl) and thus a lecturer for voice (accent method) and stuttering atPH Reutlingen and Ludwigsburg, HS Fresenius Idstein, HSG Bochum and the Academy for Health Professions Ulm. In 2013, he completed his doctorate at the PH in Ludwigsburg. Since 2014 he is a certified stuttering therapist (ivs).
