Prof. Dr. Kerstin Mayhack

Prof. Dr. Kerstin Mayhack has been working at the SRH University of Applied Sciences for Health since October 2023. She is Professor of Social Work and heads the "Systemic Counseling and Management" course.

Kerstin Mayhack has been self-employed in her own practice as a systemic counselor and therapist since 2009. She works with individuals and couples and supports them in times of change and crisis. Kerstin Mayhack also works with groups as a process facilitator and trainer (e.g. in daycare centers, with school social workers, with integration facilitators). She specializes in self-care, mindfulness and stress prevention. Her focus is on a holistic view of people. She works with various mindfulness-based and systemic methods, essential oils and the use of the body.

After studying educational science and completing her doctorate in developmental psychology, Prof. Dr. Kerstin Mayhack worked on various university and educational projects (e.g. University of Erfurt, University of Jena, German Children and Youth Foundation).
