About me
From October 2016 to September 2023, Eva Kircher was a lecturer in the Bachelor's degree course in Medical Education at the SRH University of Applied Sciences for Health at the Gera campus.
After training as a nurse in Günzburg in 1985, Eva Kircher completed further training as a specialist nurse for anaesthesia and intensive care from 1991 to 1992. In 2001, Eva Kircher also completed her training as a paramedic in Dietmannsried.
From 1985 to 2013, Eva Kircher worked as a nurse at various clinics and in various management positions. Since 1993, she has held teaching positions at various educational institutions. From 2010 to 2013, Eva Kircher was head teacher at the vocational school for geriatric nursing and geriatric nursing assistance in Kirchheim/Teck. She then worked as a lecturer at a vocational school for geriatric care in the city of Stuttgart until 2016.
From 2016 to 2018, she worked as a medical educator at the vocational school for nursing at the district hospital in Günzburg.
Since 2018, Ms. Eva Kircher has been working at Kliniken Ostalb gkAöR, first as deputy head of school and then as head of further education and training. She is primarily involved in further training in intensive care and anaesthesia, emergency care and practical guidance. She is also responsible for a wide range of further training courses in teaching as well as in the organization of assistant and nursing care.
Eva Kircher successfully graduated from the SRH University of Applied Sciences for Health with a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Medical Education.
Ms. Eva Kircher received her Doctor rerum medicinalium in medical sciences from Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin in 2023. Her scientific interests lie in the field of sports medicine and sports science. In this regard, she is particularly interested in health prevention.
She is also a reviewer for various journals.
Since October 2023, Ms. Kircher has been Professor of Medical Education and course director for the Bachelor's and Master's degree courses at the Stuttgart campus.
