Since October 2020, Prof. Dr. Sabine Hubbertz-Josat has been head of the Bachelor's program in Medical Education and the Master's program in Medical and Health Education at the SRH University of Health Cologne Campus.  

Prof. Dr. Sabine Hubbertz-Josat successfully completed her studies in Nursing Science at the University of Witten/Herdecke in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and in 2004 with a Master of Science in Nursing. As a registered health and pediatric nurse, she worked at the University Hospital of Essen in an intensive care unit for adults and children at the Clinic and Polyclinic for Bone Marrow Transplantation, worked as a research assistant and continuing education coordinator at the University of Witten/Herdecke, managed a residential facility for the elderly as its managing director, and most recently was the managing partner of a practice for mind body medicine.

Prof. Dr. Sabine Hubbertz-Josat received her doctorate (Doctor rerum medicinalium) in 2008 from the Chair of Health Policy and Health Management at the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Witten/Herdecke on the topic of "Quality in inpatient care for the elderly in the Rhine/Ruhr area from the perspective of residents and relatives".

Since 2005, Prof. Dr. Sabine Hubbertz-Josat has been a lecturer at various universities, most recently at Heinrich Heine University in Düsseldorf in the field of mind-body medicine, a new form of stress medicine.

As a trainer and lecturer in health care, Prof. Dr. Sabine Hubbertz-Josat has extensive experience in adult education. Her teaching focuses on qualitative research, subject didactics, communication, POL, and nursing and health sciences. She combines relational didactics, which focus on the learner and his or her learning process, with varied teaching methods.

Prof. Dr. Sabine Hubbertz-Josat has volunteered as a mentor in various mentoring programs.
