Alexander Ernst
About me
Since 2022, Alexander Ernst has been working as a research assistant in the degree programs of medical education as well as medical and health education at the SRH Hochschule in Gera. In addition to teaching in various modules, his core tasks include the acceptance of teaching samples as well as aptitude tests for professionally qualified applicants: and the supervision of final theses. In addition to his activities in the study programs, Alexander Ernst has been working in the university-wide project Future Skills since April 2023.After successfully completing his training as a health and nursing nurse in 2016, he worked for several years at the HELIOS Klinikum Erfurt in an interdisciplinary vascular center. From 2021, Alexander Ernst worked as a teacher at the Institute of Nursing Vocational Education in Gotha. In addition to his teaching and classroom activities, he was involved in the development of the in-school curriculum and in the working group “Digital Teaching and Learning''.
In April 2023, Alexander Ernst graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Medical Education from the SRH University of Health in Gera and is currently studying for a Master's degree in Medicine and Health Education. His academic interest lies in the areas of simulation-based teaching and learning formats, the qualification of teachers in the health professions, the use of AI in the pedagogical context as well as the quality, development and evaluation of curricula in the health professions.
