About me

Since 2015, Prof. Dr. Katharina Dressel has been a professor in the training-integrated degree program in speech therapy at the SRH locations in Karlsruhe and Stuttgart.

In 1992, she successfully completed her studies in special education at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich (1st state examination) and subsequently trained as a speech therapist at the School of Speech Therapy in Aachen (state examination in 1996). This was followed by her studies in teaching and research logopedics at the RWTH Aachen (diploma 2004).

From 1996 to 2007 Prof. Dr. Katharina Dressel worked full-time and during her studies clinically in neurological rehabilitation and in a logopedic practice.

From 2004 to 2009, she worked as a research assistant in various projects of the departments of Neurolinguistics, Clinical Cognitive Sciences and Neuropsychology at the Neurological Clinic of the University Hospital Aachen.

She then taught as a lecturer in the speech therapy courses at RWTH Aachen University until 2014.

In 2011, Prof. Dr. Katharina Dressel received her doctorate.
