About me
Prof. Dr. med. Daniel Böger has been Chief Physician at the Clinic for Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases and Plastic Surgery at SRH Zentralklinikum in Suhl since April 2009. During this time, in addition to his extensive clinical work, he has also worked scientifically and taken care of the training of medical students. In particular, his responsibilities as PJ representative of the hospital, which is an academic teaching hospital of the Friedrich Schiller University in Jena, included the supervision of clinical trainees and PJ students.
From 1990 to 1996, he completed his medical studies at the Martin Luther University in Halle an der Saale. He received his doctorate in 1999.
He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of swallowing disorders. Prof. Böger acquired the certificate as a lecturer for the training curriculum "Diagnostics and therapy of oropharyngeal dysphagia, including FEES" of the German Society for Phoniatrics and Pedaudiology in 2021.
