Education on knowledge about concussions in sports (EdWiCon)
Brief description
With the EdWiCon project, SRH researchers are pursuing the goal of improving athletes' and coaches' knowledge about Sport Related Concussion (SRC) and thus contributing to injury prevention. As part of the project, players and coaches learn to recognise the signs of SRC at an earlier stage so that serious consequences can be prevented. By raising awareness, the athletes' self-care is strengthened and their understanding of therapeutic treatment options is increased.
