Reaching the goal together
In a tandem programme, native speakers of different languages help each other to improve their language skills. For example, if you want to learn Spanish, you can meet up with a Spanish speaker who wants to improve their German. Speaking with a tandem partner is a great way for both of you to round off your existing knowledge.
To find a tandem partner, please contact us with your details of your mother tongue and language of choice. We match students who would like to pass on their language skills and are looking for support in return. A win-win situation: students help each other learn a new language and make new friends in the process.
By taking part in a tandem programme, you can not only exchange knowledge, but also strengthen your intercultural and communication skills. A major advantage of this learning method is that you can learn outside of the classroom. You can meet up with your tandem partner in a café or visit restaurants and museums. This improves your listening comprehension and language competence. The relaxed atmosphere stimulates the learning process and helps learners to use their language skills in real life.
