Course objectives

  • Deepening specialist knowledge Expansion of the theoretical foundations: Imparting advanced knowledge in core areas of information technology such as Information and Coding Theory, Transmission Technology, Communication Networks, Digital Signal Processing, Image Processing, Real-Time Programming, Integrated Circuits, Robotics, Advanced Control Engineering, Embedded Systems, Embedded Security Updating technical know-how: Ensuring students are familiar with the latest technologies, tools and methods. 

Development of practical skills Project-based learning approaches: 

  • Conducting hands-on projects to solve real-world problems and develop real-world skills. Technological applications: Use of modern technologies and software in laboratories and projects to gain practical experience. 

Promoting innovation and creativity Innovation projects: 

  • encouraging students to develop innovative IT solutions and new approaches to problem solving.
  • Research and development: support in the implementation of research projects and the publication of research results.

Preparation for leadership roles Management skills: 

  • imparting knowledge and skills in the areas of project management, IT strategy and business management. Teamwork and Communication: Promote teamwork, communication and presentation skills through group projects and seminars.

Your modules

On the Master's degree programme in Information Technology, you will learn the basics of information theory and coding and acquire knowledge about techniques and systems for transmitting data via various media. You will also learn how to process digital signals and how to programme systems that have to work in real time.

In the further course of your Master's degree programme, you will learn the fundamentals and applications of robotics as well as the safety aspects of embedded systems. As part of your internship, you can gain practical experience and apply your theoretical knowledge before writing your Master's thesis.

Smart financing

As a state-recognised private university, SRH University is financed by tuition fees. The fees go towards equipping our campuses, providing services for our students, and ensuring quality assurance. This way, we ensure you receive the best possible education under optimal study conditions.

Tuition fees

  • EU/EEA citizenship, including Switzerland, Western Balkans and Ukraine: €770 per month
  • Non-EU/EEA citizenship: €6450 per semester

The monthly/semester tuition fees remain the same for the entire duration of the study programme. A one-off enrolment fee of €750 (EU/EEA) or €1000 (non-EU/EEA) is to be paid once.

Goal-oriented studies require good organisational skills and solid financial planning on how to pay rent, living costs, and tuition fees. Various financing options, such as educational loans or scholarship programmes, are available for students.

Authorisation

You can apply at any time via our online portal. We will then check your application documents and invite you to a personal interview.

To apply for the Master’s programme in Information Technology, you will need to provide

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, information technology, communication technology or a similar subject
  • Secondary School Certificate
  • Proof of English language proficiency
  • Curriculum Vitae with a current passport photo
  • Copy of your identity card or passport

  • If you meet the admission requirements, we will invite you to a personal/phone interview
  • If the interview is successful, you will receive an acceptance letter and the study contract
  • You sign the study contract and send it back to us
  • You pay the enrolment fee
  • You will receive your letter of admission
  • You take part in our Welcome Week and then you are good to go!
