Selection procedure
The selection procedure comprises an artistic aptitude section (movement and expressive skills; non-verbal interaction skills) and a personal and professional aptitude section (admission interview). We reserve the right to make any changes to the respective components.
Artistic aptitude part (movement and expression skills):
- Dancing self-portrait
- Non-verbal interaction
- Free dance
- Personal-professional aptitude part (admission interview): Admission interview to clarify: Motivation to study, areas of interest, plans, personal and professional background, communication skills
After a successful application via the online portal, we will contact you personally. The exam will be held online as a video conference in a one-to-one setting.
Application process and deadlines

We do not have any application deadlines. This is what your application process looks like:
- If you are interested in the Master's degree programme in Dance and Movement Therapy, you can send us your application easily and conveniently online.
- If you have any technical difficulties with the online application or if you have any questions about your application, your contact person will be happy to help you.
- If you fulfil the admission requirements, we will invite you to a selection process.
- If you are successful in the selection process, you will receive an acceptance letter and a study contract from us.
- You sign the study contract and send it back to us.
- You pay the enrolment fee.
- If you come from a non-EU country, you will pay your tuition fee one semester in advance in addition to the registration fee. From the second semester onwards, payments for the remaining semesters are due six weeks before the end of the study period you have already paid for.
- We will send you your letter of admission.
- You take part in our Startklar days - and off you go with your studies!
