On November 4th, PetroVietnam University (PVU) hosted a seminar delivered by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Binh Vu from the SRH University of Applied Science Heidelberg, Germany. The seminar focuses on Data Science, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and their applications in education and research. It aimed to provide PVU students with a comprehensive understanding of AI, from basic to advanced concepts, through a structured approach. It was divided into two main themes: the ethics of AI development and use, and data analysis with AI in educational and research contexts. These topics were designed to deepen students’ insight into AI's responsible implementation and technological capabilities.
The seminar sparked significant interest, attracting over 200 registrations. Active participation from both students and faculty was evident as they engaged with Prof. Vu through numerous questions and discussions about AI's practical impact. This interaction not only facilitated a more profound comprehension of AI technologies but also encouraged attendees to consider AI's broad implications across different sectors.
