Founded in 1907, Tongji University is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in China. Today, it is a focal university and one of 33 Chinese universities that are to be developed into world-renowned universities. With its seven faculties, it is already one of the most popular universities in China and attracts students from all over the country to Shanghai. Jiangsu University of Technology (JSUT) was brought into existence as Changzhou Teachers College of Technology in 1984. With 2 campuses namely Yanta Campus and Lintong Campus, the university, covering an area of 1,210,000 square meters, owns a graduate school and 20 faculties (departments). The University of Santos Tomas is located in the Philippines and is a private Catholic university run by the Dominican Order.
