Alone and together? Dance, movement and systemic therapy

Our aim is to introduce you to the Master's degree programme in Dance and Movement Therapy and the fields of application of dance and movement therapy. In this practical workshop, you can actively experience how dance therapy can be carried out and is taught at SRH.

Different therapeutic schools, such as behavioural therapy, depth psychology or systemic therapy, are integrated into dance and movement therapy. The introductory workshop Alone and together? deals with movement patterns in systems - i.e. choreographies that arise in groups, families or organisations. Alone and together? also provides a compact insight into how systemic therapy approaches are used in dance and movement therapy.

The introductory workshop is aimed at anyone who is specifically interested in an MA programme at the SRH or who would like to find out more about dance and movement therapy in general.

Our introductory workshops take place in the practice rooms of the Faculty of Therapy Sciences. Please bring comfortable clothes and your curiosity about dance and movement therapy.

• 10:30 - 15:30 Dance and movement therapy practice (incl. 1 hour break)
• 15:45 - 17:00 The Master's programme in Dance and Movement Therapy at the SRH
